DAY 1: Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari

Drive early morning towards the west from Kampala and have a stop over at the equator for photographs, Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range for much of the journey. A game drive Enroute may be rewarded with views of Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hyenas and a variety of Antelope species. Enjoy the unique evening 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward
This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water’s edge. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species.Dinner and over night at Mweya Safari Lodge / Budget Institute of ecology. (BLD)

Day 2:
After a cup of coffee , Embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queens mile in the park and expect to see Lions, Elephants, cape buffalo, Warthogs, leopard, hyena, mangoose, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, Topi and lots many small animals and birds. After the game drive, proceed to Bwindi via Maramagambo and Ishasha sector. As you drive along the road via Ishasha sector, animals such as the waterbucks, elephant, antelopes, buffalo, kobs, can be seen along the road. Relax around the Forest camp. Dinner and over night at the luxurious Gorilla Forest Camp set deep in the rain forest.

Day 3: Bwindi Gorilla Safari.
There is an early morning entry into a gorilla sanctuary. The rainforest is spectacular as it offers a dramatic, heavily forested and dense landscape crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access for tourists. Recorded mammals here include the endangered mountain gorilla, the rare golden monkey, buffalo, elephants, black-fronted duikers, bushbucks, leopards, giant forest hogs as well as other animals. This park is best known for the fascinating gorillas, where the time taken and terrain varies according to the movements of these marvelous primates. The thrill of spending time with and observing these gentle giant gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure that will leave you with long lasting memories of a truly unique experience. The gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they play and interact. Day 4:
After breakfast, drive back to Kampala. Head to Kampala having lunch enroute, the drive back to Kampala stops at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers. Here you will be able to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through generations. There will also be time to stop at the equator for photographs and you will arrive in Kampala by early evening.

Day 1: Entebbe – Kampala
As you arrive at Entebbe International Airport you meet our tour agent who will take you to your Hotel but depending on your time of arrival you may have the famous the Kampala tour.On the check list are: Buganda Kingdom palace, the Bahai temple, Namugongo Uganda matrs shrine, Kasubi tombs and Uganda museum Uganda museum. Overnight at the The Lodge/ any Kampala hotel of your choice

Day 2: Tranfer to Bwindi National Park
After your early morning breakfast, start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha arriving in the evening at Buhoma. You will Dine and have the night at Buhoma community Rest Camp/ Gorilla Forest Camp / Buhoma Lodge.

Day 3: Tracking the Gorillas
After a heavy breakfast and carry packed lunch have a briefing at the headquarter after which embark on tracking gorillas in the forest at 8:00 am. The time you spend in the forest tracking isunpredictable but ranges between 2 – 9 hours depending on the movement of these mountain gorillas. Your Dinner and overnight shall be at Gorilla Forest Camp / Buhoma Lodge / Buhoma community bandas

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth national park safari
Just after your breakfast transfer to Ishasha Game Reserve to view tree-climbing lions after which you go to Queen Elizabeth national park for your lunch at the lodge as you prepare for Kazinga Channel for the afternoon game drive. Your dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Hippo Hill Camp

Day 5: Game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park
At 6.00am have breakfast and right after enjoy a game drive to the northern sector of the park through the Kasenyi track in search for buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs plus many bird species. After proceed to Fort Portal for a night at Mountains of the Moon Hotel as you prepare for a chimp trek in Kibale Forest national park the following morning.

DAY 6: Chimpanzee trekking
Early in the morning go to Kibale forest headquarters for the 4 hours chimp trek starting at 8.00 am. After this trek, have lunch then transfer to Kampala where you will arrive in the evening.

DAY 1- Elgon Mountaineering Tour
Early in the morning after breakfast our tour guide will transfer you to Eastern Uganda at Mt Elgon. On arrival, you will start your tour with a visit to the famous Sipi falls where you will be showered by the water falls in enjoyment then go to the Kitum Cave with her overhanging crystalline walls that enter 200 m into the side of Mt. Elgon. You shall dine and have your overnight at Sipi Falls Rest Camp

Day 2 – Mountain hiking
After breakfast set off to climb to the highest peak of Mt. Elgon, Koitoboss, 13,852 ft (4,155 m), easily accessible by hikers in about 2 hours from the road side. After this you will follow the vehicle circuits that will lead you to the panoramic views where you will have sight of various animals such as colobus monkeys, elephants, black-and-white, tree squirrels and blue monkeys. You will dine and have your second overnight at Sipi Falls Rest Camp

Day 3- Kidepo valley national park
Early in the morning after breakfast embark on your journey to Kidepo National Park to arrive early enough for your lunch at Apoka Lodge. During the afternoon, you will enjoy the panoramic views of the Narus River Valley as well as the wildlife seen right from the verandah of the lodge. You will dine and have your overnight at Apoka Safari Lodge

Day 4 – Kidepo Wildlife Tour
After your early morning breakfast, you will have a morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. Kidepo Valley National Park harbors a total of 86 mammal species, making it the National Park with the third highest number of game in Uganda, Kidepo National Park also protects a far greater variety of large mammals than any other national park in Uganda that including 28 species found nowhere else in Uganda. Her bird species checklist has 463 confirmed and 26 of which are unconfirmed. Kidepo NP is only matched by Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After having your lunch at the lodge you will go to Karenna and Kapedo for a cultural performance by the native Karamajong people. You will dine and spend the overnight at Apoka Safari Lodge

Day 5: Drive to Murchison from Kidepo
Your guide will drive you to Murchison having your lunch en route. On arrival in Murchison National Park you will visit the top of the falls in the evening and cross by a ferry to Paraa Safari Lodge. Where you dine and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge/Budget Red Chili Camp (FB)

Day 6- Murchison Falls National Park tour

After an early morning breakfast, embark on a game drive to the north of the River Nile following delta tracks that runs west from the ferry jet at Paraa to the Lake Albert Delta. The 20 km2 area of grassland adjacent to the Victoria Nile delta- as it flows into Lake Albert has an overwhelming concentration of wildlife to the fascination of any tourist.

Go back in the afternoon enjoy a boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison falls. The launch trip to the base of the falls is the highlight of most trips to Murchison Falls, but the boat cruise downriver from Paraa towards the Lake Albert delta is best for birdwatchers, because it offers the best opportunity to see shoe bills than anywhere in Africa, especially during the rainy season. You will have excellent Game viewing on this trip such as hundreds of hippos, the largest crocodiles left in Africa, black-and-white Columbus monkeys, small herds of buffalo, bush buck, water buck, kobs, and giraffe, Elephants, and if lucky lions and leopards. Day 7: Murchison to Kampala

Early in the morning after breakfast, go to Kaniyo Pabidi Forest in Budongo Forest for chimpanzee tracking, forest birds such as the white thighed horn bill, the chocolates-backed Kingfisher, chestnut-winged starling, Trogon, Narina and puvel’s illadopsis not found anywhere in East Africa.
You will emback to the journey to Kampala.

Day 8: Return to Kampala
After an early morning breakfast you will embark on the Kampala city tour and visit Kabaka/King of Buganda palace, Makerere University-the oldest university in East Africa,the Bahai temple, Kasubi tombs, Owino market, Namugongo Uganda Martyrs shrine,Kibuli and Gadafi mosque plus other attractions. After transfer to the airport depending on your flight details.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Murchison Falls Uganda safari-Wildlife Tour
Very early in the morning your Uganda safari guide will pick you from the hotel and transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park. On your way, you will pay a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – where black and white rhinos are kept in a semi-natural environment. The next stop-over shall be in Masindi for your lunch and arrive in the evening at the top of the falls-where the world`s longest river -Nile River, is forced to flow through a 7 meters wide narrow rocky gauge before ferociously plunging down 43 meters. From here you will take a ferry across the river to Paraa Safari Lodge. Look out for hippos, elephants, buffaloes and many other animals as they graze on the banks of the river on your way. You shall dine and spend the overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge / Nile safari Camp (Full Board)

Day 2: Game Viewing in Murchison Falls NP
To further accelerate this Uganda safari,you will have an early morning game drive towards the northern river bank in search for Cape buffalo, elephants, bohor reed bucks, lions, rothchild’s hyenas, giraffes, hartebeasts, waterbucks, oribi, bushbucks, and if lucky, leopards. Return to the lodge for mid morning breakfast , relax at the lodge till you take your lunch. After lunch, go for a boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls. This boat trip along the Nile is the highlight of a tour to Murchison Falls national park and so fascinating. It allows you to have a close and personal interaction with the animals. With over about 4,000 hippos reported to be along this stretch of the river and numerous Nile crocodiles and a birdlife stunning with brightly colored kingfishers and bee-eaters dwelling along the riverbanks you are assured of a great adventure. On your luck day, you may see the rare shoebill-a cross between the dodo and a dinosaur. The boat cruises you to the base of the falls to further your impression of the falls and the Nile at large. You will have your overnight at the Paraa Safari Lodge / Nile safari Camp / Sambiya River Lodge

Day 3: Murchison Falls – Fort Portal
Early in the morning after breakfast but with packed lunch go to Kibale Forest National Park traversing traditional homesteads surrounded by crop plantations and arrive in Fort Portal in the evening. Your dinner and overnight shall be at Ndali Safari Lodge / Mountains of the Moon

Day 4: Chimpazee Tracking Safari in Kibale Forest
After breakfast early in the morning go to the ranger station in Kibale National Park at 08.00am for a briefing before tracking the habituated chimps. These beautiful apes-more closely related to humans than to any other living creature, are a great adventure watching as they squabble and jump from tree to tree. This forest is home to over 13 primate species include the red Colobus monkey, bushbabies, the rare L’Hoest monkey, black-faced vervet monkeys,blue monkey, grey mangabey, pottos, plus baboons. Birders have close to 335 species recorded to watch including the endemic Prirogrines ground thrush. The shady forest trails offer much delight to botanists and butterfly lovers, the forest elephant, smaller and hairier than the savannah one, moves seasonally into the developed part of the park and other mammals including the giant forest hog, buffalo and a half dozen antelope species are all that will spice your kibale forest Uganda safari adventure . Right after we will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park for your dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Jacana safari Lodge/Hippo Hill Camp

Day 5: Wildlife Tour – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have an early morning game drive so as to spot the early risers such as the elusive leopards and spotted hyenas. After the game drive return to the lodge take your breakfast and relax a little. Resume the game drive following the Kasenyi track for abundant wildlife such as hippo, the buffalo, hyenas, Lions and antelopes etc. You will return to the lodge for lunch and a chance to relax at the magnificent swimming pool before taking an afternoon boat trip along the Kazinga channel to have a close look at hippos, buffalo and crocodiles. The banks of the channel are also home to many bird species that include the saddle billed stork, the pink-backed pelicans, the pied and malachite kingfishers among others. Day 6: Bwindi National Park
After an early morning breakfast, embark on your transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park via Ishasha Game Reserve. Watch out for the famous tree-climbing lions in the trees branches and then proceed for lunch at Gorilla Resort Camp- Buhoma. Here you will dine and spend the overnight in anticipation of a gorilla tracking-gorilla trekking and / birding day tomorrow.
The Bwindi impenetrable Gorilla Forest holds 348 species of birds and supports 24 of 26 Albertine Rift Endemics that occur in Uganda and is home to seven red data book species. Bwindi Gorilla Forest is an extension of the forests of the Virunga Volcanoes that offers a fascinating view being home to both the flora and fauna. Your dinner and overnight shall be at Buhoma lodge / Gorilla Resort camp / Lake Kitandara a Camp/ Engagi Lodge/ Buhoma Community Rest Camp

Day 7: Gorilla Tracking /Gorilla trekking
After a heavy early breakfast but with packed lunch, you will transfer to the park headquarters at Buhoma in Kanungu for a briefing before embarking on your gorilla trek at 8:30 am. Park guides will after take you through the thick buttress root tree forest plus undergrowth- tracking the gorillas. This 2-9 hour Gorilla trek requires a reasonable degree of fitness a pair of jungle shoes. Once tract, interaction with the gorillas as you listen to them grumble as well as taking photographs with them takes only 1hour. It’s important to note that there are only about 680 of these beautiful apes left in the world most of them fortunately found in Bwindi. Your dinner and overnight shall be at Buhoma lodge / Gorilla Resort camp / Lake Kitandara Camp/ Engagi Lodge/ Buhoma Community Rest Camp

Day 8: Bwindi – Lake Bunyonyi Overland Camp
After an early morning breakfast, drive to Bunyonyi traversing the Kigezi Highlands commonly referred to as the”Switzerland of Africa”. You shall take a picnic lunch and arrive at the overland camp of Lake Bunyonyi (the lake of Birds) – the deepest lakes in Africa in the late afternoon. Bird around and after enjoy traditional dances by the local people or have evening walks around the nearby villages to see the local/native hats/houses in which the locals dwell as well as interact with them. Your overnight and dinner shall be at Habuharo Island camp / Arcadia Cottages

Day 9: Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast transfer to Lake Mburo NP having your lunch en route in Mbarara town. Proceed to Lake Mburo national park for an evening boat cruise on arrival or a game drive if preferred. Whichever you choose, be assured of seeing a variety of game and birds the difference is that one is on water well as the other is on land. You will have your dinner and overnight at Mantana Luxury tented Camp or Mihingo Lodge/Lake View Hotel /Basic Rwonyo bandas

Day 10: Lake Mburo national park – Kampala
After your early morning breakfast, you will undertake a nature walk-the most interesting nature walks in the country that will expose you to various species of primates, birds,antelope, buffaloes and many wild plant species. After this, Proceed to Kampala but stop-over in Lyantonde for your lunch or at the Equator where you can buy African crafts and take photographs. You will arrive late evening in Kampala, dine and spend your overnight at Speke Hotel / The Lodge or similar other
